THE DESIGN CENTER
St. Andrews East strives to make the process of designing your new home a pleasant experience. We have a Design Center that houses a variety of selections for flooring options, cabinetry and granite samples, paint colors, tile and tile border samples, even cabinet knob choices. Don’t worry, if you can’t find the perfect selections for your custom home in our Design Center we will work along with you to achieve your goals which may include sending you directly to the vendor show rooms for a wider selection.
THE DESIGN TEAM
The Floor Plans and Models of our homes have been thoughtfully and expertly planned by an in-house design team with decades of experience in designing and building thousands of residential properties in the area from condominiums to multi-million dollar custom homes.
Steve Lattmann, one of the developers, is a Registered Architect who has spent his
entire working career spanning 4 decades in the Sarasota and Venice area. He began his career in 1969 working for one of the renowned Sarasota School of Architects, Tolyn Twitchell. In 1972 he joined a new development group in the area, The Ramar Group Companies, and over the years oversaw the land development, design and construction of several thousand condominium residences in numerous communities. In the late
1980’s he began his own custom design/build company and built some of the area’s
most prestigious residences. In the mid 1990’s, he joined forces with the current development group and has continued to be the steward of project planning and product design. His many years of design experience and expertise has given us the ability to provide well conceived floor plans that are both unique and practical. He is a
master at maximizing space and developing floor plans that make sense. Having Steve as part of the team also enables us to customize one of our homes to an individual’s specific needs and requirements and this service is available to any of our buyers at no additional expense.
The other in-house design team member, Larry Cramer has been involved with Steve in his custom home business from the late 1980’s and followed him to join the new
development group in the mid 1990’s. His expertise in design and model merchandising is second to none. He partners with Steve when designing a new floor plan to insure that our floor plans provide versatility and can properly accommodate furnishings. His ability transforms our various residential styles into warm and inviting homes. Our models are the talk of the town and since there is such a demand to purchase them fully furnished everyone is always awaiting the unveiling of a new one.
